The Professional Developers Conference (PDC) is Microsoft’s premier gathering of leading-edge developers and architects.Registrations for Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference (PDC) 2009 have been opened,as we mentioned earlier the event would be held in Los Angeles, from on November 16 and end on November 19.

The agenda have sessions on SQL Azure, Silverlight, Windows Azure, Office
, SharePoint, xRM, Windows 7, Windows Server, and more. For more necessary details regarding the registration for PDC09 they can be found on Microsoft's PDC site, where more info on the sessions at the conference is also available.

What is Windows Azure Platform

Azure is a cloud services operating system that serves as the development, service hosting and service management environment for the Windows Azure Platform. Windows Azure provides developers with on-demand compute and storage to host, scale, and manage Web applications on the Internet through Microsoft data centers.
Azure Services Platform is an application platform in the cloud that allows applications to be hosted and run at Microsoft datacenters. It provides a cloud operating system called Windows Azure that serves as a runtime for the applications and provides a set of services that allows development, management and hosting of managed applications off-premises.All Azure Services and applications built using them run on top of Windows Azure.
Windows Azure can rather be said a version of Windows that runs over the Internet from inside Microsoft's own data centers.

Although some compatibility issues have been reported with Office 2010 CTP, (which is one of the major software Microsoft is looking for Cloud computing) and Visual studio 2010.But since both these products are in their Beta there might some conflicts Occur .
