Before you move on to Windowx XP mode in your Windows 7 have a check @ your system requirements as well.You must have following configuration :
1 GHz 32-bit / 64-bit processor required
Memory (RAM) :2GB memory or higher recommended
Recommended 15 GB hard disk space per virtual Windows environment
Supported host operating system: Windows 7
Supported guest operating system: Windows XP SP3 / Vista / Windows 7
